Description
The Makita LS1040 is a 10 in. corded compound miter saw powered by a 15 amp direct-drive motor producing 4,600 RPM with soft start for smooth, constant cutting. Its dual post compound pivot arm handles bevel cuts up to 45 deg left, while miter adjustments span 0-45 deg left and 0-52 deg right with nine positive stops. Cutting capacity is 2-3/4 x 5-1/8 in. at 90 deg and 1-3/8 x 3-5/8 in. at 45 deg. Weighing just 27.3 lb, it includes a carbide-tipped blade, vertical vise, wrench and dust bag.
